Modifications
Here are some modifications we did on a few of our Bikes.
VICTORY - VALKYRIE INTERSTATE - HARLEY ELECTRGLIDE - VALKYRIE STANDARD
Victory Cross Country Antenna Modification
Parts Needed
6 to 8 hours from start to finish
The purpose of this mod is to increase the range of CB communications and get rid of the antenna's sticking out past the rear of the bike. I moved teh CB antenna from the left side of the bike to the right simply to keep it from sticking way out to the left when the bike is on it's side stand.
First you need to remove the seat, side covers and saddlebags. Next remove both factory antennas and mounts. Pull all cabling back to the seat area.
AM/FM Antenna
Re-route the AM/FM antenna cable down to the left side of the bike, reinstall the AM/FM antenna mount to the left side and attach the AM/FFM cable. Remove the antenna mast. Install the 6mm bolt into the new shorty rubber mast using loctitite. Measure the distance needed to screw into the mount and cut the bolt off accordingly. Clean up the threads after cutting, apply loctite and insert antenna into mount securely.

CB Antenna
Modify two braces to use for mounting the CB antenna mounting bracket to the saddle bag supports. I did this so as not to drill any holes on the bike. Dill holes in the end of each brace to create a clamp to mount the mounting bracket to. FIG
Run the NGP CB antenna lead appropriately through the fender down to the antenna.
Manufacture a bracket to keep coax cable from exhaust. FIG 4

Tidy up all cables (fold excess coax in a Z formation and tuck away. (do not coil the excess coax), make sure you have your SWR's checked and set before attempting to use the CB.

The Harley Engine Build
I am very happy with the final results from this build. It suits my puposes very well.

Next I had the 95" kit installed with SE203 cams and flat top pistons. Stage 2 Harley dpwnload.
72.07 HP and 82.46 TQ
After Tuning:
76.14 HP and 89.42 TQ
Still looking for more I had the head reworked ported for Higher Flow. I also had Andrews 37G cams installed. The Andrews 37 cams provide a much flatter torque band.
79.25 HP and 88.6 TQ
After Tuning:
80.73 HP and 92.11 TQ
Better but a little disappointed on the horse power. I added D&D Big Cat 2 into 1 performace exhaust. Much better. Very smooth power band now.
FINAL RESULTS: I was suprised in loosing a little torque, but the horsepower increase really made up for it.
89.39 HPand 89.56 TQ
Note that the torque curve jumps up at the get go and stays pretty level before starting to drop. This is what I ws searching for was TQ all the way across as much as possible
Valkyrie Exhaust Modification
Parts Needed
3 1/2 hours from start to finish
The first thing you will need to do is remove the pipes, then you will need to make a cut about 2 1/2" from the collector end of the header (see fig 1). In the mod instrictions I used it was stated that you can cut it 1 1/2" and it will work just fine, and it will make it easier to slide the truck stack over it. You can keep the remainaing end you cut off to make some silencers later, if you so desire, as long as you havent done the Ragnar cut (removal of the rear baffles), otherwise you can just put it in file 13.

Now is where the real work begins. Take your 3" pipe extension and using the large end, cut it 4 1/2 " from the end (this can be loger or shorter according to you preference. It needs to be short enough to get the welder tip, or stick inside). Weld the 4 1/2" piece of pipe you just cut onto the header with the larger end inside the header and the smaller end out (see fig 3 and 4). Next you will need to place the washer on top of the 3" piece you just welded in place and weld it (see fig 5). Now all you need to do is weld the 2" pipe extension to the washer (see fig 6).
